Julianne is co-founder of Kinetic, alongside her partner Nicolaas. She began teaching group reformer classes in San Francisco, until the dream of owning her own studio took shape.
She found Pilates during her professional ballet career, and you'll see her inner dancer come through in her teaching — classes are choreographed intentionally to minimize transition time, and she loves curating each playlist to reflect the arc of class.
What's on her playlist: Groovy remixes of popular songs, and you can bet on some Rufus du Sol.
Favorite move: Long Stretch — I love that it forces you to find that shaky stability through your core!

Reyna’s been a lifelong athlete—swimming, playing waterpolo, surfing, and skiing once she moved to Colorado.
She loves incorporating moves into class that help you train your body for whatever you love to do outside.
What’s on her playlist: Upbeat house music, some dubstep, and oldie rap songs that you probably forgot about.
Favorite move: Reverse lunge or side lying legs

Sterling has been teaching Pilates for 5 years in both group and one-on-one settings. He was first introduced to the method through classical ballet, as a way to cross-train (fun fact: Jules and Sterling met each other 10 years ago in the Butler University dance studios!).
You'll see his dance career come through in class, with lots of action-based and descriptive words while he's cueing.
What's on his playlist: A mix of upbeat pop and alternative tunes. Don't be surprised by a pop punk banger to two!
Favorite moves: Long spine and Scooter— I love the complexity of combining back body engagement and spinal articulation, and also a spicy standing glute series built off of scooter.

Teagan found Pilates after her college swimming career when she picked up running. She fell in love with it, but her body did not. She found herself with overuse injuries after being so used to low-impact exercise.
Her goal is to make others love Pilates as much as she does and find a way to keep their bodies happy and healthy for whatever movement that’s in their day-to-day lives.
What’s on her playlist: A little bit of everything! Lorde, Temper Trap, Harry Styles
Favorite move: Feet in straps stretches! As someone who doesn’t stretch as often as I should, I love wrapping class up that way.

Jennifer has been teaching for nearly a decade, with a background spanning yoga, sculpt, Pilates, barre, and strength-based movement. She was first introduced to Pilates through her mom, but really fell in love with it later in life after a back injury, when it became the only way she felt strong, safe, and confident moving her body again.
That experience pushed her to deepen her practice and complete a 500-hour Pilates certification.
Her classes are dynamic and always evolving, shaped by her background and continued learning. She's intentional about how she builds sequences and focuses on the "why" behind each movement so you can feel strong, supported, and in control of your body the whole way through. There are always options to layer things up or take them back, and the goal is for you to feel confident moving in a way that works for you.
What's on her playlist: R&B, hip-hop, house, and more
Favorite move: Glutes and side-lying work — it hits every time!

Danielle discovered equipment-based Pilates while living in Chicago in 2016. What now feels like a past life, Pilates helped her stay fit while working a corporate marketing job and as talent for an agency in the Midwest.
In her classes, you can expect Danielle to set a strong foundation at the start, and progress to bigger, fancier moves from there. Her favorite part is meeting and connecting with new people. But she also has a firsthand appreciation for Pilates' ability to rehabilitate the body postpartum.
In 2020, she completed a pregnancy and postpartum training and continues to learn the value of the modality in every day life.
What's on her playlist: She's a true Chicagoan - you can count on some hip hop and R&B.
Favorite move: Scooter or any single arm ab work variation!

With over 7 years of teaching experience, Colleen's passion is helping clients build strength and confidence. Her classes are a mix of biomechanics, mindful movement, and great playlists, all designed to help you move through life with ease, power, and energy.
Her teaching style is heavily influenced by a background in occupational therapy, a love for movement, and a deep agreement with Joseph Pilates’ core philosophy: true wellness requires a strong connection between the body, mind, and spirit.
What's on her playlist: A mix of upbeat house, singer/songwriter, indie pop, and unique covers of popular “oldies.”
Favorite Move: The Up Stretch. It’s the ultimate combination of fluid, beautiful movement and a serious powerhouse burn.
